S1 Book 5 Chapter 9

Yu Yin discovered that he was being followed.

Ever since he had left the school, he’d had the vague sense that someone was behind him.

Following behind that female student missing half her head, they turned around the corner to an area near where the white car’s owner lived. The tape there had already been taken down, and all related evidence had been taken away too. Aside from a few increased patrol cars, this area was no longer as lively as it had been the previous night. There were only a few occasional reporters floating around, trying to ask some questions and test their luck.

After stepping inside a certain alley, the female student disappeared.

Yu Yin was completely baffled as he stared blankly at the alley, momentarily unsure where he was supposed to go. This was where he had nearly been run over last time. Because of Jiu Shen’s group, he knew that the white car’s owner probably lived maybe five minutes away after turning out of the alley and walking down the hill. It was a rather obscure area that was isolated from the adjacent residential section.

Why had he been called over here?

He suspiciously began to walk up the sloped road, noticing how quiet the surroundings were. Since a vicious car drove around here, the nearby residents probably did not dare to come out at night, afraid of being run over by the crazy driver.

Just as he was about to turn out of the alley, he felt a cold wind blow against his back. When he reflexively turned around, Yu Yin saw several black shadows blindly lined up behind him.

There were three people, male and female. They did not have the faces of living humans, but ones that had already turned green and rigid. Their gazes were blank, as if unable to comprehend where they were or where they were supposed to go. They simply paced back and forth in place, seemingly oblivious to Yu Yin’s watch.

As Yu Yin observed these “people” that were probably not university students, realisation dawned on him.

Four people had gone missing, and one had been found.

That meant the remaining three likely did not have hopeful prospects.

Yu Yin shook these thoughts away as he inwardly pitied the white faces pacing back and forth in the same position without stopping. It was like they did not know they were no longer able to go home. After a few circles, the things vanished again in the blink of an eye.

Yu Yin was uncertain whether this was because they had voluntarily disappeared, or if his vision was acting sporadically again, and he let out a sigh. Just then, another thought flashed through his mind — he had not seen those three white faces the last time he had come here.

Why are they appearing now?

And although Yu Yin couldn’t quite put his finger on it, he felt there was something very odd about their mannerisms. Rather than walking in circles, it would be more precise to say that they seemed to be trapped in this place by something he couldn’t see, or some invisible force…Can ghosts be trapped in one spot by other ghosts?

“What kind of world would that be?” Yu Yin weakly slumped his shoulders as he tossed out the random ideas spinning around in his head. He then resigned to continuing his journey up the hill.

The girl with half her head missing had already disappeared from sight. When he reached the end of the path, he saw the house belonging to the white car’s owner. That guy was probably still in the station. Yu Yin looked at the completely dark townhouse with nobody inside. The air and darkness carried a heavy air within them.

This was the first time he had felt so strongly against moving even an inch. However, when he heard the girl’s sobbing sounds again, he could only brace himself and continue walking forwards. Since it was a decent distance away, nobody noticed him when he flipped over the outer wall and circled around the window.

Yu YIn was unable to find any suspicious traces even after walking around the townhouse multiple times. In Yu Yin’s opinion, it was a bit odd.

I’m not in the wrong place, right?

Just as he was suspecting this possibility, a noise abruptly sounded out from the left window. Then, the window was unlocked by something, and was slowly pushed open.

With experience from the previous “lottery ticket” incident, Yu Yin knew that this was an invitation being offered to him. As he wondered if his uncle would strangle him to death later, he automatically opened the window and made his way inside.

As expected, there was absolutely nobody inside the house. In fact, there were not many things inside the house in general. It just appeared to have some expensive and simple furniture, along with some general use items. There was nothing else at all.

Yu Yin mentally prepared himself as he carefully walked up the stairs. After scanning the entire staircase, he was shocked to discover that there were empty rooms on both the second and third floors that showed no traces of anyone living in them. The house’s owner had only a bed set up and some daily use items in the so-called master bedroom on the first floor. It was evident that the first floor was his living space, while everything above was just harboring mosquitoes.

But why rent such a large townhouse then?

This question popped up in Yu Yin’s mind. He figured that the police, who had already searched through the house, probably had the same question.

After walking back to the first floor, he circled around to the back and abruptly discovered that there was a small shrine table in the kitchen area. Its placement seemed nearly identical to what Yu YIn had seen on the fourth floor of the building complex.

Yu Yin was momentarily stunned as he wondered, There’s no way something could be that coincidental… He then pulled open the drawers to find nothing inside them. This made him let out a small sigh of relief.

But isn’t this house a bit too clean?

Although unable to find any clues, Yu Yin kept his hopes up as he flipped outside the same way he had gone in. This time, nothing strange came looking for him.

After smoothly descending back down the hill, he did not walk very far before spotting the nurse-Āyí from the high school, likely just coming back home. She had a plastic bag from a convenience store in her hands as she rummaged around for her keys in front of her door.

When she noticed Yu Yin’s sudden appearance, she was also very astonished.

“Thank you for last time.” Yu Yin hesitated a bit, but for the sake of courtesy, still walked over to greet her.

Seemingly not quite recovered from her shock, Zhang Mei Ning could only keep blankly staring at him for a while before she finally gave a quick nod in response. “Why are you still wandering around here so late?” She placed her items down in front of the door as she asked him this question.

“Oh, I came to look for a friend who lives nearby. I’m about to head back now.” Yu Yin came up with a random excuse and hurriedly waved as he prepared to leave.

Against Yu Yin’s expectations, Zhang Mei Ning did not continue speaking and also directly entered her home.

Although he found it strange, he did not think too much about it. It wasn’t like the other person had an obligation to chat with him in the first place.

He felt a bizarre sense of disappointment. Aside from the backpack, he had not been able to locate Xiao Yu’s trace at all. He had no idea where that guy could have possibly gone to or where he could have been captured.

And what did those guys from the other world represent?

***

The glass shards all over the place had been swept clean.

It was the next afternoon. Yu Yin looked at the windows that had been reinstalled after being knocked down. Likely afraid someone was targeting the police over a vendetta, the station tried to leave people nearby to help keep watch. However, Yu Tong rejected the offer.

“Alright, I doubt this matter has anything to do with me or Xia.” Yu Tong put away his cleaning supplies and crossed his arms as he stood in front of his child. “Aside from Xiao Yu disappearing, did you forget to tell me about any worse mess?” Yu Tong had always thought the person most likely to have rocks tossed at them was his younger brother, yet his son had unexpectedly taken the hat first.

“Eh, I’m not sure if I offended anyone.” Yu Yin scratched his head, although he had a good guess about what was going on. “I’m thinking they wanted to grab that doll.”

“Doll?”

Yu Yin pulled out the long bag that girl had left in his care from the living room closet and opened the zipper to reveal the object.

“BJD (Ball Joint Doll).” Yu Tong immediately recognised it.

“How do you know what it is, Dad?” Yu Yin looked at his dad with a stunned expression. In the past, he had heard his ill-fated friend, Li Lin Yue, mention that the media had haphazardly reported about this before and ended up publishing a whole pile of errors. Anyone that didn’t specially collect these things would probably mistake this item for an SD doll at first.

“There was someone that came to the station before to report getting scammed for buying one. Back then, I saw my colleague flip through some webpages about it and I asked some questions, but I’ve never really come into contact with one before.” Yu Tong carefully took out the doll. He scrutinised its detailed, white clothing before putting it back inside the bag.

“There’s nothing inside either.” Yu Yin crouched down next to it and repeated his previous search. “I figured that it might have been because she was being persecuted at the time, she was afraid it would get broken, so she forced it onto me instead.” But no matter how much he thought about it, he still could not figure out how that girl had known his identity.

Yu Tong meticulously patted down the layer within the bag but did not find anything. Puzzled, he faced the small and delicate humanoid face. The doll’s eyes seemed to have a purple glint to them, but it was just a reflection of the light.

For a second, he felt as if the doll was staring back. Yu Yin subconsciously looked around, but did not see anything.

“There is nothing.” Yu Tong could only come up with the same conclusion. He gently reoriented the doll in the bag and zipped it back up. “Since nothing is there, why would they do something like this just to get the doll?”

Yu Yin shrugged.

Yu Tong pushed the bag back into the closet and turned around. “I will go to Xiao Yu’s school again today and see if I can discover anything. Don’t go off and do anything strange again.”

“I never—” Just as Yu Yin was about to retort back as usual, he cut off midway.

Yu Xia still had not come home, Xiao Yu had gone missing for unknown reasons, and his house had just been broken into. He knew his dad was tired enough as it was.

Thus, Yu Yin simply nodded.

Yu Tong stood up and gave a few more reminders. He then confirmed the house was currently not in danger of being broken into again before quickly leaving.

When Yu Tong left, Yu Yin glanced at the time. His first afternoon class would be starting soon.

Yu Yin actually did not want to go to school, but he still gathered his things to go linger around at the university, since his attendance rate was nearing its limit. Although he was very close with all the professors, he could not guarantee his professors would not fail him.

After locking up the house and turning on the security system, Yu Yin jumped onto his motorcycle and quickly raced towards school.

After a short while, he stopped his bike in the nearly packed parking lot of the campus.

Because it was class time, there were not many people walking around inside the campus. Only after leaving the parking lot did he gradually start bumping into people.

Yu Yin swung his bag onto his back and passed by the library. Just then, he subconsciously raised his head up, and coincidentally happened to see a face missing half its head right above him, looking down.

Without any idea why this thing was looking for him at the university library, Yu Yin scratched his head. If the other party did not direct him or provide any clues, he could not help even if he wanted to.

“Ah Yin.”

As he was contemplating this, someone patted his shoulder.

Yu Yin turned around to see that the person standing behind him was Yi Tai, who should have still been in the police station being questioned about the brawl. He was still sporting that same relaxed and carefree smile.

“Weren’t you not going to come to school for the time being?” Yu Yin suspiciously asked the gang leader that he actually did not have a very deep relationship with.

Yi Tai blinked. “I made a minor arrangement with your dad by exchanging opinions with him.”

“Hmph, I figured.” Yu Yin had never once doubted that this person was more cunning than he appeared.

“Someone in the library was looking for you.” Yi Tai did not pay any mind to Yu Yin’s attitude. He stated, “Your younger brother returned a book to the wrong place.”

“Huh?” Yu Yin started and could only look dumbly at the other person.

“Is Shaodi Yu not your younger brother? I asked Ah Guan, he said he was.” Yi Tai studied his astonished schoolmate and cheerfully continued, “He returned a book from the Taichung Library over here in our university’s library. Has he applied for a library card here, or have you perhaps helped him get one?”

“No, my brother only just entered the high school across from us recently.” Yu Yin quickly began to walk towards the library before stopping again. “Weird, how did you know about it?”

“I’ve heard Ah Guan mention the name before. Also, the female student working part-time in the library is part of my class, and she was complaining about it this morning. I thought the name sounded familiar, so I said I would help her ask.” Yi Tai strode in front and pushed open the library’s glass door.

It was quiet inside. The air conditioning was on, so the inside was slightly cooler than outside.

The library manager and two female work-study students stood behind the front desk. One of them immediately waved when they entered.

“It’s this book.” The girl lowered her voice so as not to disturb the quiet study environment. “This doesn’t belong to our school, it’s from the Taichung Library. It even says so on top. I called that library and asked, and they said that a person named Shaodi Yu had borrowed it. I figured he returned it to the wrong place, although we don’t have his data here.”

Yu Yin took the somewhat hefty book and couldn’t help but grimace at the English words on the cover. This was probably some kind of original text.

“The Science and Technology of Medicine.” The female student directly translated the title. “It’s due in a week, so don’t forget to get it returned.”

The more Yu Yin stared at the book, the more he felt there was something wrong with the situation. Xiao Yu was even sharper than he was, there was no way he would return it to the wrong place. Moreover, he had never gotten a library ID from the university. “May I ask if you can confirm that he personally returned the book?” Yu Yin just had this nagging, strange feeling. The situation was extremely suspicious.

“Huh? I’m not sure. It was placed inside a whole bag of books that was in the book return box. The library allows people to return books in that box before the library even opens,” the girl answered hesitantly.

“Were all the books inside that bag borrowed by Shaodi Yu?” Yi Tai asked his classmate.

“Oh, not at all. There were around four books, each one was borrowed by different people. It was placed inside the book return box this morning.” The female student took out a log and replied, “They had all been taken out by students from the high school across. I figured they had been gathered and returned together, or maybe confiscated.”

Since her tone of voice was so casual, Yu Yin was starting to grow more doubtful.

This morning?

Yu had disappeared for more than a night now. Since he had gone missing, there was obviously no way he could have returned books this morning.

“What do you mean by confiscated?” Yi Tai continued to ask as he noticed the fretful expression on his companion’s face.

“As in when some students—the ones from the high school across, I mean—often read borrowed books during class, and end up getting them confiscated by their teachers. Because our school’s library has our school logo on it, they will periodically return all the confiscated books together,” the female student explained. “Any overdue fines still need to be paid by the students.”

“Does every teacher bring these books over to return?”

The female student shook her head. “They seem to ask a volunteer worker from the school to do it. If I remember correctly, she goes by Zhang-Āyí…”

“The health office’s Zhang- Āyí,” the other work-study student helped answer. “Zhang-Āyí often helps run back and forth to return these books. We’ve already received them from her quite a few times.”

Yu Yin froze as he felt his body go ice-cold in horror. He had definitely bumped into Zhang Mei Ning outside the library, and she had even brought up the fact that she was returning books.

He then thought of another book. Perhaps that girl had given him a clue after all. “Could I please ask for you guys to look up another book? The title is The Eastern Capital: A Dream of Splendor. It was just recently returned.”

“Oh, I remember that one.” The student Yi Tai was acquainted with quickly responded, “It was also returned by Zhang-Āyí. She said that she had found it dropped in the school hallway. In the end, we later found out that it had been borrowed by the dead female student announced on the news, so I still recall it clearly.”

“Dropped in the hallway?” That can’t be right. Based on Yu Yin’s memory, the book had been very clean, with no stains from being on the ground. Moreover, if it had been dropped, there wouldn’t have been any reason for the bookmark to have stayed inside.

A very terrifying thought settled in his mind.

“Was that book returned before the female student died, or after?” Yu Yin looked at the work-study student, hoping that his guess was incorrect.

“It was the day right before the body was discovered,” the work-study student answered immediately.

Yi Tai studied Yu Yin for a while before leaning over the counter to whisper to his classmate, “Do me a favor…”

Once the student heard his request, she nodded. “Alright, but you’ll owe me one, Yi Tai.”

“No problem.” Yi Tai’s smile widened.

The female student straightened up to walk over towards the library manager. She then quietly told the manager:

“Teacher, one of my classmates lost something important near the book return box. Could you let us check the surveillance camera tape?”

The library manager nodded in response.

Big Camel spent the entire night searching for Yin Yin.

The next morning, he furiously charged back out.

The others that had been forced to search the entire night as well tiredly returned to their second hideout.

“I’m going home to sleep a bit first.” He Wang Hong was finally unable to endure any longer, and he massaged his shoulder as he walked out and quickly disappeared.

“Do you want to talk at the station, or at a McDonalds?” Kai Lun yawned as he asked this question. “I’m about to die from starvation. If you want to discuss anything, let’s find something to eat first and take our time chatting after.”

“Let’s go to a restaurant nearby then.”

When Kai Lun heard Yu Xia’s answer, he let out a soft groan and grumbled about how many places here had disgusting food. He persisted on walking a bit further to a McDonalds, since at least the food there was consistent, and therefore a much safer option.

After glaring at the finicky person, Yu Xia still agreed. Thus, the two flagged a cab and left the campus, momentarily arriving at the McDonalds in the early morning. Only then did Yu Xia suddenly realised that Kai Lun had probably wanted to avoid the students near the school to discuss more important matters.

There were not many people at the fast food place in the early morning. Most of the customers ordered takeout to bring directly to school or work to eat, so they quickly found a more hidden spot on the second level to sit. There was nobody there, and the man-made backdrop covered their figures.

Once their food was placed on the table, Kai Lun placed his laptop onto another chair.

“Don’t tell me that was purchased with public expenses?” Yu Xia casually asked, recalling how the laptop had been immediately replaced after it had been broken.

“There’s no way. Both were my own, but of course I requested for compensation using public expenses after it broke.” Kai Lun patted the laptop and answered, “In the end, my boss above only let me report for a maintenance fee…so stingy.”

If Yu Xia was bringing around a personal belonging at work, he was pretty sure he would only be compensated for maintenance fees too. “So you communicate with your group through the online game?”

Kai Lun nodded as he gulped down the soup he was holding.

Yu Xia studied the person across from him. He was quite a bit younger; by Yu Xia’s estimate, in the twenties. He was probably only a bit older than Yu Yin. No wonder Yu Xia had thought this person seemed out of place with his companions at first. There were differences in everything from temperament to age.

“What are you guys currently investigating?” If Kai Lun had already spent half a semester there, it was definitely no small matter.

“Drugs.” Kai Lun glanced at him and said, “I personally requested to do this. You remember how my brother died, right?”

Yu Xia nodded, although he was slightly surprised. He had originally thought another unit would be dispatched, not that Wang Shi Kai’s younger brother would continue on.

“We continued looking into the clues my brother left behind. Probably because they had been alarmed, they hid it very carefully. Only after we discovered that this school has communications with the guy selling did I come in to see if I could find who was behind it all. But at the moment, I’ve only bumped into the person selling things to Big Camel. Originally, I was planning on getting more of their trust, but it was ruined by you guys. But I guess things just happen.” After pointedly saying these words, Kai Lun sighed. “The white car guy your side seized was the one meeting with Big Camel.”

“But when we were investigating the disappearance case, your unit didn’t inform us about this.” Yu Xia picked up his soup. After running back and forth the entire night, he didn’t have much appetite.

“Who knew you guys would act so quickly?” Kai Lun gave a disgruntled reply before continuing, “It doesn’t matter, I don’t think Big Camel would let us get any closer anyways. We’re planning on temporarily withdrawing first and we’ll try looking for a new line instead. Is there anything you want to know about?” From what he could tell, Yu Xia’s small group was about to investigate the matter of the white car’s owner possessing drugs. That was why Big Camel’s business had also been blocked off, and there would be no contact between the two sides during the interim.

“The three missing people?”

“I don’t know much about those three. They mainly ran around outside. Like you heard before, they caused quite a few violent disputes. If you go to the juvenile crimes group, you can definitely find a lot of records on them.” Kai Lun paused and looked away as he recalled his limited information. “But their disappearances were definitely sudden, just like Yin Yin’s today. Since Big Camel is the group’s head honcho, anyone leaving would definitely let him know first — you know how vicious his temperament is too. But those three abruptly just went missing one day. They couldn’t be reached, and their cellphones weren’t connected. We figured they had probably gone missing rather than run away. But just as we were about to accept the case to prevent any disturbances from rising, we found out they had already dispatched people.”

Yu Xia pondered over Kai Lun’s words. He believed he had learned some intelligence. “Then was there any overlap with the fourth girl?”

Kai Lun shook his head. “She didn’t seem to be someone targeted by Big Camel…but I’ve seen her before. There was a period of time where she walked around the residential area.”

“With dogs?” Yu Xia thought of what Yu Tong had told him over the phone and instinctively came up with this conjecture. “But weren’t the dogs killed?”

“No.” Kai Lun shook his head and told him, “There were a total of six. But when Big Camel and I passed by, we only saw five dead dogs being taken away.”

“So there was still one more!” Yu Xia instantly figured out where the fourth person could have gone and he hurriedly asked, “Do you know where she was taking care of the dogs?”

“I’m not sure, but I think it was probably over where the health office volunteer is. I’ve seen them feed the dogs together before.”

Yu Xia immediately stood up. “I’ll go back to my group first then, I’ll contact you later!”

Ignoring Kai Lun’s surprised shouts, he grabbed his jacket and quickly bounded down the stairs. He broke out into a frantic run on the streets, stopped a cab and got on, and then quickly called someone that was probably still working.

“Tong, help me look into the records and tell me the victim of the previous incident of violence at the school—his surname.”

He was thinking they had possibly overlooked many details.

***

“The one who returned that bag of books was Zhang-Āyí.”

Yi Tai’s classmate informed as she pointed at the scene on the surveillance tape.

Yu Yin felt his heart sink. “I understand, thank you.”

But no matter how much he thought about it, he could not understand why Zhang Mei Ning would harm them. Xiao Yu probably didn’t know her well, let alone share any enmity. Up until recently, they didn’t know each other at all.

As Yu Yin walked out of the library, all he could think of was to find that person and get some answers out of her.

Yi Tai grabbed onto him. “What happened? You’re too worked up, nothing will go well if you try to handle things like this.” Although he did not know why Yu Yin was so anxious, he could tell that it was definitely something important.

“My younger brother is probably in that person’s home.” Yu Yin’s mind was an absolute mess. All he wanted to do was charge over and get an explanation.

“Do you want someone to accompany you?” Yi Tai took out his cellphone.

“No need.” Yu Yin tactfully decline the other person’s generous offer and thanked him once more before quickly running towards Zhang Mei Ning’s home.

It was two in the afternoon.

After arriving at the residential area, Yu Yin walked towards the house he had now gone to several times, and pressed the doorbell. However, a long time passed without any response. He then realised the other person had probably gone to school.

After restlessly pressing the bell a few more times, he looked around. Perhaps because it was still working hours, none of the neighbours were around either. This made him come up with a not very good idea.

He scanned his surroundings once more before walking over to the house’s other side, searching for any places that had maybe been left accidentally unlocked, or a space he could flip through. Of course, he knew this wasn’t something he should be doing, and that his uncle would definitely murder him if he found out. But when Yu Yin thought of how Xiao Yu might possibly be locked up inside, he couldn’t care less about the other issues.

Whether it was the result of good luck or bad luck, he quickly found a window next to the house’s back door that had not been locked. When he looked through it, it seemed to lead to the kitchen.

It was extremely quiet inside, without any person to be seen.

Just as Yu Yin was about to open the screen window, he suddenly heard the sound of footsteps without any warning coming from the back door. He froze up completely and immediately curled up underneath the window.

The footsteps were very faint, as if someone was walking on their toes. However, the sound was extremely clear.

He then heard the footsteps stop right behind him, followed by an odd clacking sound coming from above. The glass window was slowly pulled open from a person inside. He could practically feel the faint vibrations from the window moving.

A white face stuck outside the window.

Yu Yin tried to angle his body to the side as much as possible. He actually couldn’t see that person’s face from his angle, but just from the chin and the person’s energy, he acutely noticed that this person’s complexion was too pale. Their skin was so deathly white that it had a greenish hue, a colour that no normal person would be.

As if searching for something, the face stiffly looked around.

Worried that the other person would look down and notice him, Yu Yin retreated backwards a bit and carefully turned to start moving towards the corner. The corner that originally wasn’t very far suddenly seemed miles away. After struggling to turn around completely, he realized that he had already broken out into a cold sweat.

He hadn’t thought there would be this kind of thing in the health office volunteer’s home. But as Yu Yin walked down the road outside, he suddenly recalled that the white face didn’t belong to the girl, nor the other three people he had previously seen nearby…rather, it seemed to be the face that he had seen disappear behind the iron fence that day of the car accident.

But who is that?

A thought flashed through his mind. Zhang Mei Ning has a son.

Yu Yin then realized that the reason he thought that white face looked familiar was because he had seen the case file before. Because the incident involving a student being ganged up on and beaten to death had been near his university, he had been more mindful about it and had secretly borrowed the news article regarding the case from a Dàgē at the station.

He had definitely seen that white face before. It was 100% identical to the victim’s photo.

“What are you doing in front of my house?”

A soft question rang out from behind Yu Yin. He jumped in fright and spun around to see that Zhang Mei Ning had at some point arrived, standing in front of her door. She seemed to have just gotten back. “Since you’ve already arrived, come in and have a cup of tea.”

She gave a friendly smile and casually opened the door as if nothing was wrong.

Yu Yin swallowed hard before following her inside and shutting the door.

The entire house seemed abnormally quiet, as if even the air had frozen. He couldn’t hear a single sound, so there was no way a person could be there.

He very quickly noticed the place where the white face had stuck out from to look around was actually blocked off by something. A normal person could not have poked their head out from there.

“Is juice ok?”

Seemingly not noticing Yu Yin’s change in expression, Zhang Mei Ning smiled as she took out some fruits from the refrigerator in the kitchen. She then swiftly prepared the fruit and placed it inside a blender.

The sound of the blender running echoed throughout the entire house.

Yu Yin stood in the living room and glanced at the family photo he had seen last time. Then, he finally realized what had been off about it. “May I ask where your husband is?” He hadn’t seemed to see the house’s male owner before. Even at night, it was only ever Zhang Mei Ning in the house alone.

“My husband is out on a trip in mainland China.” As she gave this reply, the sound of the blender stopped, and she walked out with a cup of juice in her hand.

“…What year is your child currently in again?” Yu Yin cautiously asked as the orange juiced was placed down in front of him.

“Third year, why?”

“No reason, I just suddenly thought of the
